"Last weekend I went on a tuning ride with Kevin in Preston, ID to dial in my BD-PG-M8 (which is now running better than ever before) and in the process I got to spend a fair amount of time on his new Pro-Lite 900 demo. The 900 is without a doubt the most fun boondocking sled that I've ever ridden. It grunts the skis in the air the instant you snap the throttle and swaps ends unbelievably fast. The handling was very light (perhaps right between a newer M8 and a Poo Pro) and held a sidehill effortlessly. And in the trees the power was enough to pull me out of situations where a stocker would be buried.
So the million dollar question: How does it compare to a PG Turbo. The top end felt very similar to my M8 at 6.5 lbs, which is about the most I'd try on straight pump. However, the 900 is a much better boondocker due to the absolutely instant throttle response. When we turned my boost up to 8.5 lbs it had much more top end, but I'd still trade it for the shear fun-factor of the 900. It really is a giggle machine, and I'll have one next year. "
